פעלת פקידי הטבע במשמרותם: והנה שם האדון ב״ה בטבע כל פקיד לעמוד על משמרתו ולקיים בגבורה מה שנמסר בידו ולא ידחה ממשמרתו אלא באותו הסדר שסידר האדון ב״ה. ד״מ שר האילנות ישתדל ויתאמץ להחזיק אילנותיו ואולם בהיות הגזירה מלפניו ית׳ יחזיק שר הרוח את הרוח כפי מה שיוגזר עליו וידחה שר האילנות כפי זה ויעקרו כפי זה מאילנותיו בכח הרוח ויש בדברים האלה הדרגה רבה ופרטיות רב כי יש המלאכים פקידי הטבע הגשמי המחזיקים כל חלקי הגשמים בחוקותיהם הטבעיים ועליהם שרי גזרות הגמול המניעים מלאכי הטבע לסבב הענינים לפי הגזירות וכמה פרטים לפרטים כפי נפלאות סתרי הנהגתו ית׳:
The effect of the natural appointees at their posts: And behold the Master, blessed be He, put into the nature of each appointee to stand at his post and boldly fulfill what was given over into his hands. And he is not pushed off from his post except by the order that the Master, blessed be He, ordered. By way of example, the ministering angel of trees makes efforts and exerts himself to strengthen his trees. However when there is a decree from in front of Him, may He be blessed, the ministering angel of wind strengthens the wind according to what was decreed about it and accordingly pushes off the ministering angel of trees. So according to this, some of his trees are uprooted from the power of the wind. And there is much calibration and great detail in these things. For there are angels that are appointed over physical nature that strengthen all parts of the physical world with their natural laws. But above them are the ministering angels of the decrees of repayment that prevent the angels of nature from effecting their functions, due to the decrees. And how many details to the details are there, according to the wonders of the secrets of His direction, may He be blessed!
Действие надзирателей природы на их постах: Господин, благословен Он, заложил в природу каждого надзирателя стоять на своём посту и стойко поддерживать то, что вверено в его руки. И он не будет смещён со своего поста, кроме как в том порядке, который установил Господин, благословен Он. Например, покровитель деревьев будет стараться и усиливаться поддерживать свои деревья. Однако когда определение исходит от Него, да будет Он благословен, покровитель ветра удержит ветер, сообразно тому, что ему определено, и потеснит покровителя деревьев, и будут вырваны некоторые из его деревьев силой ветра, сообразно этому. И в этих вещах существует обширная градация и великая подробность. Ибо есть ангелы — надзиратели материальной природы, поддерживающие все части материального мира в их естественных законах. А над ними — ангелы-исполнители определений воздаяния, приводящие в движение ангелов природы для того, чтобы направлять вещи согласно определениям. И множество частностей в частностях — сообразно чудесным тайнам Его управления, да будет Он благословен.
