וּלְהַמְתִּיק הַדִּין, הוּא עַל־יְדֵי שֶׁהָאָדָם דָּן אֶת עַצְמוֹ, דְּהַיְנוּ עַל כָּל מַה שֶּׁעוֹשֶה, יָדִין וְיִשְׁפֹּט בְּעַצְמוֹ אֶת עַצְמוֹ עַל כָּל דָּבָר, אִם כָּךְ רָאוּי לוֹ לַעֲשׂוֹת, וִיפַשְׁפֵּשׁ בְּמַעֲשָׂיו וִיתַקְּנֵם כָּרָאוּי עַל־פִּי דִּין וּמִשְׁפָּט הַתּוֹרָה,
2. Now, the way to mitigate judgment is by a person judging himself. That is, in whatever he does, he himself should judge and evaluate himself in every aspect: was that the appropriate way for him to behave? He should search his ways and properly rectify them, according to the judgment and law of the Torah.
2. И вот, путь к смягчению суда — чтобы человек судил самого себя. То есть во всём, что он делает, он сам должен судить и оценивать себя во всех аспектах: было ли это для него надлежащим образом поведения? Пусть исследует свои пути и как следует исправит их согласно суду и закону Торы.
וְעַל יְדֵי זֶה שֶׁהָאָדָם דָּן וְשׁוֹפֵט אֶת עַצְמוֹ, עַל יְדֵי זֶה מַמְתִּיק וּמְבַטֵּל הַדִּין שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה, כִּי כְּשֶׁיֵּשׁ דִּין לְמַטָּה, אֵין דִּין לְמַעְלָה (וְעַיֵּן מִזֶּה לְעֵיל בְּסִימָן טו).
Through this that a person judges and evaluates himself, he mitigates and eliminates the judgment Above. For when there is judgment below, there is no judgment Above (Devarim Rabbah 5:4).
Через то, что человек судит и оценивает себя, он смягчает и устраняет суд Свыше. Ибо когда есть суд внизу, нет суда Свыше (Devarim Rabbah 5:4).
וְאָז כְּשֶׁנִּמְתָּק הַדִּין, אֲזַי יוֹצְאִין הַדָּמִים מֵהָרַגְלִין, וַאֲזַי יְכוֹלָה הַשִּׂמְחָה לְהִתְפַּשֵּׁט בָּרַגְלִין, עַד שֶׁזּוֹכֶה לְרִקּוּדִין.
Then, when the judgment is mitigated, the blood departs from the feet, in which case the joy is able to extend to the feet until one merits to dance.
И тогда, когда суд смягчается, кровь уходит из ног, и тогда радость может распространиться до ног, пока человек не удостоится танцевать.
