«И будут хранить стражу Оэля Моэд». А эта охрана — для величия и возвышения, как сказали: не подобен дворец, над которым стоят стражи, дворцу, над которым нет стражей.
ושמרו את משמרת אהל מועד, “and they are to safeguard the duties pertaining to the Tent of Meeting.” The purpose of this שמירה, supervision, is to enhance the reputation of the Tabernacle as it is a well known fact that any building surrounded by guards of honour is considered as of greater importance by people seeing the guards than even a palace not surrounded by guards.

«И будут хранить стражу Оэля Моэд» — «и они должны охранять обязанности, относящиеся к Оэлю Моэд». Цель этой שמירה, надзора, — возвысить значение Мишкана, ибо общеизвестно, что всякое здание, окружённое почётной стражей, считается людьми более значительным при виде стражи, чем даже дворец без стражи.
